What are we going to be learning?

English
Week 1 - Not now Bernard. 
What will the monster do when he enters his house instead of Bernard? 
Kindness class will be writing about the story, creating character descriptions and thinking about how the characters felt during the book.
Maths - height and length 
We will be comparing and measuring the height and length of objects using non-standard and standard units of measure. We will be learning how to accurately compare and measure objects thinking about the importance of aligning starting points.
Geography-
We will be thinking and learning about geographical features of the climate, both human and physical. We will be exploring the similarities and differences between hot and cold deserts using maps, aerial photographs and globes and develop our geographical vocabulary.
PSHE
We will be exploring our own changing feelings and how other people’s feelings might differ from ours. We will be learning how people can manage their feelings and about the consequences of our actions.
