Able Writers' Workshop at Bishop Cornish 9th October 2015
Pupils from Year 5 and 6 met author David Gatwood and spent a wonderful day exploring ideas and being creative! He writes books for a range of different age groups although his genre, 'fantasy horror' may not appeal to everyone. It was a fantastic experience and all the children returned enthused about writing. They participated enthusiastically and in fact received special mention by the author as they really helped to get the day going. They made Keyham Barton proud today! Well done!
Well done Ruby, the first recipient of our 'star author' award.
We achieved the Mythical Maze challenge - summer reading with the library.
