Lots of excitement in Year 2 today. Mrs. Blake's dog Nemo came for a visit. We asked lots of questions which helped us find out how to look after a dog.
Lucky Nemo was given some lovely pictures.
Nemo loved all the gentle strokes the class gave him.
Science week- tasting healthy snacks. Which was your favourite?
Science week- sorting salty, sugary, fatty and healthy foods. Do some foods fit into more than one group?
Look at our wonderful World Book day costumes. We look fabulous!
Twilight story reading- cuddles with our toys, parents and hot chocolate to drink.
We watch this film by Nadia Shireen and then we invented our own heroes and villains
Today we took certificates home as we have finished our Fun Friends sessions. Year 2 have learnt so much about their emotions, being brave and who is there to help them.
The wonderful Mrs. G helps us with our reading. Today a dragon called Dai came with her to hear us read. He was very friendly. 👍
Thank you Mrs. G for making us this wonderful cushion. We are using it to hold our class story. 😍

A visit to North Prospect library- the Year 2 bookworms had a fabulous time.
Dragon immersion day! Wow lots of dragons came into class today.
We have been painting and sponging a large dragon. He will have a cave to live in which is full of wonderful books to read.
Maths- Investigating 2D and 3D shapes. Sorting, labelling shapes and discovering them in our school environment.
