Pupil Premium

"A way has to be found to enable everyone to benefit from the fruits of the earth, and not simply close the gap between the affluent and those who must be satisfied with the crumbs falling from the table, but above all to satisfy the demands of justice, fairness and respect for every human being."  Pope Francis, June 2013)

In our country, there is an achievement gap between affluent children and those who are brought up in challenging circumstances.  The government gives each school extra funds, called the pupil premium, to support disadvantaged children so that they are given every chance to achieve what they are capable of and become who they were meant to be.

Our pupil premium strategy explains how we spend the money to ensure everyone succeeds.
