This month, we will be exploring and learning about Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Carmel and Our Lady of Buckfast - these are the names given to our 'Houses' here at Keyham Barton. Mrs Gill has challenged us to find out what we can about our house's namesake and to bring our learning into school to be celebrated and displayed on our new focal point in the school hall - an altar dedicated to Our Lady. Bruno, in Year 6 shared some very special information with us today as we learned all about the three young children who saw Our Lady 6 times in a small village in Portugal, called Fatima. Bruno was actually born fifteen minutes before Sister Lucy (the eldest of the three children) died, at the age of 97, almost 100 years after she first saw Our Lady.
Our last week of term was a wonderful reminder of the events leading up to the most glorious celebration of our liturgical year, Easter Sunday. Each class performed beautifully and many parents joined us, welcoming the opportunity to reflect and to pray. You will find videos and photographs below and also on Class Pages. May we wish you all a happy and holy Easter.

There are other useful video clips on this website to share with your child if you would like to find out more about Sikhism together. It would be wonderful if your child brought in some home learning about Sikhism to share with their class.
